Conservation tip 3!

For our third conservation tip Eve tells us how to care for the local ecosystem by planting native plants.

Lots of areas of the Dandenong ranges are being infested by weeds and are destroying animals habitat and plants. To help the animals who have lost a home and food source we can plant natives that live in the local area. Talk to the nearest nursery and do some reseach about what plants are able to live and grow in your garden. By planting these plants this provides a home and food for birds, echidnas, insects, bugs and larger animals like wallabys and even kangaroos.
