
Lyrebirds are famous for their incredible mimicry – but their role in the forest is even more amazing. Dr Alex Maisey shares how Superb Lyrebirds shape the ecosystem of Sherbrooke Forest, the sounds they can mimic, and the science behind these remarkable birds.

Dr Alex Maisey has loved nature and birds from a young age. He volunteers with many conservation and groups, a now he is an ecologist. He completed his PHD on the Superb Lyrebird and has always been amazed by this fascinating bird.
