
Only 250 stunning Helmeted Honeyeaters remain in the wild – and they need help. Sue Bendel, president of the Friends of the Helmeted Honeyeater, explains the story of the critically endangered Helmeted Honeyeater and the work being done to save them.

Sue Bendel is the president of the Friends of the Helmeted Honeyeater Inc. She is a long-time naturalist, and works hard to protect two animals very close to her heart, the Leadbeater’s Possum and Helmeted Honeyeater. She is very keen to protect and advocate for the environment.
